Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for budgeting, auditing, accounts receivable/accounts payable (AR/AP) management, and the development of comprehensive business and financial models. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Responsibilities
- Budgeting:
- Develop, implement, and manage the annual budgeting process.
- Analyze financial data to forecast future financial trends and prepare budget reports.
- Collaborate with department heads to align budgets with organizational goals.
- Auditing:
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through thorough examination of financial records.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.
- Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable (AR/AP):
- Oversee the AR/AP process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, including collections and disbursements.
- Implement and maintain efficient AR/AP processes to improve financial operations.
- Business Model Development:
- Analyze and assess current business models to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement new business models to drive growth and profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate business model strategies.
- Financial Model Development:
- Create detailed financial models to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Conduct scenario analysis to assess the financial impact of potential business decisions.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial modeling results.
Experience
- Accounting: 3 years (Required)
- QuickBooks: 3 years (Required)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Financial Analyst or similar role, with expertise in budgeting, auditing, AR/AP management, and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, QuickBooks).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and standards.
